I didn’t start my career in design. At 17, I entered the healthcare field and went on to work as a CT technologist for over 20 years. It has been a career that has give me stability, but creatively, I always felt there was something more.
As a military spouse, we moved often—10 times to be exact—and with each new space, I became determined to make it feel like home. I found myself constantly searching for answers: how high to hang a chandelier, what size rug a room needed, where artwork should be placed. What started as small questions quickly turned into a deeper understanding—great design isn’t random, it follows rules.
I began saving these principles, collecting them, and returning to them every time we moved. They became my blueprint.
What started as a creative outlet—photographing my home and sharing it online—evolved into something much bigger. I realized that so many people weren’t lacking style… they were lacking clarity. They didn’t need more inspiration—they needed guidance.
That realization led me to create my book—a collection of timeless design rules meant to simplify the process and help you create a home that feels cohesive, elevated, and truly yours.
Today, I share those same principles here—through design, photography, and thoughtful storytelling—to help you create spaces that don’t just look beautiful, but feel intentional.
Because good design doesn’t come and go—it’s built on what works.
