Welcome Amelia- A Birth Story
“A portrait of my son, once a week, every week, in 2014.”
I’m excited to be joining Jodi in her “52 project” this year! A great quote that Jodi shared from Gretchen Rubin in her book “The Happiness Project” says it all, “The days are long, but the years are short.” Jodi went on to write this beautiful statement, “Indeed, our days of mothering babies and young children can be tiring and messy; a cycle of washing, settling, cleaning and playing. Sometimes they’re monotonous and seemingly endless. But then, without so much as a blink, the sleepless nights and mornings at the park are over, and we’re sending our children off to school, hesitantly cutting the metaphorical cord once again.”
I am so enjoying Easton at this stage in his life and I hate the fact that he’s growing up so quickly. I know this project will be challenging at times, but I know it will be awesome to look back at the end of the year and see how much Easton has changed. I’m also hoping that it will improve my photography. So let’s get started – week one is in the books!
Easton: always making new friends wherever we go!
