Welcome Amelia- A Birth Story
From the desk of Easton:
This past Thursday night I got to celebrate my second Halloween. You probably don’t remember, but my first was less than impressive. Here’s a recap of last year’s festivities:
Not a whole lot of action going on! Anyways, mom dressed me up as a lion this year. Not too sure why we have to wear costumes, but it was pretty funny seeing what everyone else was made to wear. Once we were dressed, we headed out into the neighborhood to go for a wagon ride! My two older brothers got to come along too.
I was having a great time but mommy and daddy kept stopping to talk to people. They would talk and then put something in my bucket. Maybe they owed us something? It was a little annoying…
Sometimes during the ride, people would gather all around my wagon and we’d have to stop and say hi to them too. It is definitely much more crowded in the neighborhood on Halloween!
Finally we hit the open sidewalk! I love when daddy pulls me fast in my wagon!
After we rode around for a while, we stopped and I got to stretch my legs. I’m almost ready to walk on my own!
Halloween is pretty fun!
Here’s a pic of me with my mommy and daddy.
I’d say my second Halloween was much more fun. I got to go for a wagon ride and stay up late! It doesn’t get much better than that!
Thanks for reading about my Halloween! Hope yours was just as fun!

You were the cutest little lion ever buddy! I know you had so much fun! Hopefully one year I get to be with you on Halloween so I can see all the fun you’re having in person. But keep posing for those pictures for mommy…it makes KiKi happy!
Holy cuteness, Batman!!! This last picture is somehow even more priceless than the rest–how DO you do it???? Thanks for sharing 😀
Thanks Jackie! I have a great photographer in the family who’s taught me a few things…and sometimes it’s just luck! lol
