Sleeping patterns: Amelia wakes up around 0630 and goes to bed around 1800. She is still waking up two to three times a night and I am struggling to function each day. I am trying to get her on a better nap schedule during the day, but with a toddler in tow, that is proving to be quite difficult! She is usually only up for two hours before going back down for a quick 45 minute nap.
Feeding schedule: Amelia is still nursing every three hours during the day and two to three times a night. I am looking forward to next month when she can start solid food!
Sounds and motions she makes: Amelia rolled over for the first time this past month, but I’ve yet to see her do it again. She stays on her back while sleeping in her crib and likes to roll up onto her side while playing on her play mat. She kicks her legs wildly out of joy when she sees me and still loves to squeal when she’s happy. She loves picking up just about anything and bringing it to her mouth for a closer inspection and her laugh is about the only reason I’m able to function each day.
Likes and dislikes: Amelia loves to sit with me and swing outdoors. She enjoys pulling her socks off her feet since she can grab her toes and roll. And she loves having a blowout in her best outfits! Her favorite toy is her kick n play piano and her thumb is her best friend. She’s not a fan of being put in her car seat, but usually settles down once we get moving.
By the end of the month, she is learning to: Amelia has quite the grip now and uses it to pull whatever she can reach into her mouth. We have loved listening to her laugh this month and become more aware of her surroundings. She is getting better at sitting up and can do so for a few seconds before falling over.
