I am officially one week past my due date today, so what better time then to post my maternity pictures? Maybe it will inspire her to come out and greet the world!

While we were on Catalina Island for my 30th birthday, my sister planned to do my maternity photos and borrowed a dress from a friend. Normally I would have been upset that I didn’t have time to plan an outfit, but the dress she borrowed just so happened to be a gorgeous plum color that I loved!! I collected a few flowers from the island and crafted a makeshift flower crown with the help of pipe cleaners.  Voila!

Here are a few pics in a dress that I brought, before we get to the gorgeous gown.

After a quick outfit change for me, we took a few more.  Once again, I would have loved to have coordinated the boys outfits, but you gotta work with what you have for a surprise photo shoot!

The pictures turned out beautifully and I’m so grateful to my sister and brother-in-law for taking them for us. I know we’ll treasure them forever. I’ve already placed a few in the nursery.

However, not ALL the photos turned out so glamorous. Here’s a little peek behind the scenes of what goes on most of the time… my husband has a limited attention span for photos.
