Welcome Amelia- A Birth Story
You may have noticed in a few of my recent posts that Easton is walking – yea! A week after he turned one, he took his first three steps. Since then, he’s been gradually taking a few more steps each day, usually falling because he’d get excited and try to walk too fast. I think it’s safe to say now that he’s officially walking everywhere. So we went out and bought him his first official pair of shoes. What boy doesn’t need a pair of Converses? His shoe collection has since grown, and we are enjoying chasing after a walking toddler. It’s funny because everyone said things would get a little more difficult once he started walking, but we have found it quite the opposite. He was already getting into everything before he started walking, but now we get to enjoy taking him to the park and watching him walk around and be a little more independent. Plus his pants don’t all have knee stains now!
Here are a few pictures of Easton walking around our neighborhood.
Trigger keeps a watchful eye on Easton (and the ball).
There’s always the occasional fall, but he gets right back up and keeps on walking!
Our little explorer!
He’s learning how to tackle new challenges and let’s nothing get in his way!
Ta-da!
Now mommy needs some new running shoes! 🙂
