HI! I'M SARAH

Welcome Amelia- A Birth Story
If you’ve seen Amelia’s bedroom before, you know she has the smallest room in our house. I don’t let that stop me when decorating it for Christmas though (small things can still pack a mighty punch!). Come take a peek around her room decorated for Christmas – I promise it won’t take long! 😜
Since her small bedroom couldn’t hold more than a table top tree, I wanted to add something to the space that wouldn’t take up any more physical room – the ceiling! I handmade these paper doilies in various sizes and hung them with fishing wire.
Her sheets got changed out with flannel penguin sheets which she swears need to stay on year round.
The quilt at the end of her bed was made by my dear friend Mikki, who I have been friends with since elementary school! She makes the cutest storybook quilts and I had her make this nutcracker quilt a few years ago for Amelia’s room. Go check out her Etsy shop!
Amelia’s bookshelf got filled with her Christmas favorites. We’ve already read through them all, so I’m pretty sure I’ll be ordering some more for next year. If you don’t see your favorite on the shelves, I’d love for you to leave me a comment telling me what it is!
The snowflake garland was crocheted by my mom and hangs on her bookshelf and her bed!
Her antique dresser sits on the opposite wall from her bed and is decorated with a few Christmas trees, a whimsical pink deer, and a faux fur garland that makes any space more fun!
I hope you enjoyed the quick spin around Amelia’s Christmas bedroom! I’ve promised to upgrade her to a bigger tree once we move into a home that has a bigger bedroom for her. But for now, she’s enjoying this sweet and charming space of her own.
