My favorite sound on Thursday nights,
Is the ice cream trucks melodic tune.
It tells me that it’s not too far,
And I’ll have my ice cream soon.

I love most any flavor,
But chocolate is the best.
It doesn’t even phase me,
That it makes such a mess.

Brother likes to join me,
He’s an ice cream fan too.
We sit in silence devouring,
The creamy goodness made by moos.

The only part that’s sad,
Is when my bowl is empty.
I’ll lick and scrape till there’s no more,
Chocolate ice cream is so tempting!
