Easton absolutely loves being around Amelia, or “Melia” as he calls her, and making her laugh. I had to take a break from making the bed to snap this photo of her laughing at him.

Easton has been asking for a scooter ever since we became good friends with our neighbor whose boys both have one. Since his birthday was still a few months away, and I didn’t want to just give him one, we decided he could earn it. I made a chore chart that consisted of him making his bed, getting himself dressed, setting the table, and picking up his toys. He did this for a week and at the end of the week, we bought him the green scooter that he so desperately wanted. I feel like I should have gotten a reward at the end of the week since I had to help him, but seeing the smile on his face was priceless. Needless to say, we’ve been on quite a few walks around the neighborhood.
