Amelia has been sick for the last several months with a cough and an ear infection.  She started spiking several high fevers so we took her back to the doctor for the fourth time demanding something be done. They admitted her to the hospital for further tests and treatment and after some steroids and a few breathing treatments, we were able to go home the next day. She made quite a few friends at the hospital though and had a smile on her face despite the lack of sleep. They think it was a bad upper respiratory infection but can’t rule out asthma or allergies so we will have to follow up with a pediatric pulmonologist. We are continuing using a nebulizer machine at home and I’m happy to report that her cough has finally gone away!

Easton drove his tractor around the neighborhood and we stopped to take a few pictures with the fall leaves. He enjoyed looking at the different colored leaves, throwing acorns, and finding sticks. I enjoyed getting to snap a few photos of him playing until he hit me in the head with an acorn.
